چکیده
This study was designed to determine the effects of graded levels Adansonia digitata leaves on semen quality in Red Sokoto bucks (RSB). Twenty RSB were randomly assigned into four groups comprising 5 each. Groups A, B, C, and D given 0%, 10%, 20%, 30% A. leave powder, respectively, for 14 weeks. Semen collected every 2 weeks evaluated volume, sperm cell motility, pH, percentage abnormalities, livability, concentration, colour, consistency. There no significant (p > 0.05) differences livability between fed those control group throughout study. Sperm motility significantly < reduced B at week 14, but overall mean not different among groups. a increase abnormalities C 2, difference till end The concentration decreased compared 4. However, there A 6. colour varied from milky creamy, while consistency ranged viscous semi-viscous both bucks. showed that have deteriorative quality.

Body Measurement of Red Sokoto Bucks in Nigeria and Their Relationship with Testicular Biometrics
Ninety Red Sokoto bucks were used to assess the relationship between body, testicular and epididymal measurements in three age groups (group 1: 7-12 months; group 2: between 1 and 2 years and group 3: older than 2 years). The effect of age on body and testicular / epididymal measurements was analyzed. A predictive model was developed for each of the testicular / epididymal measurements using li...
متن کاملProximate Analysis, Phytochemical Screening and Antimicrobial Activity of Baobab (Adansonia digitata) Leaves
Baobab (Adansonia digitata L.) is known in Africa as the tree of life because there are many traditional uses for every part of it, from the leaves to the roots. This study carried out the proximate analysis of baobab leaves, screened the phytochemicals present and determined the leaves’ aqueous extract antimicrobial activity to suit the traditional way of preparation and use. Phytochemicals sc...
متن کاملthe effects of changing roughness on the flow structure in the bends
flow in natural river bends is a complex and turbulent phenomenon which affects the scour and sedimentations and causes an irregular bed topography on the bed. for the reason, the flow hydralics and the parameters which affect the flow to be studied and understand. in this study the effect of bed and wall roughness using the software fluent discussed in a sharp 90-degree flume bend with 40.3cm ...
